As someone who approached the wrong side of 50 this year mate I can understand your decision to pack it all in.

I keep saying I will.

Then I keep saying I will.........someday.

Then I cannot possibly think of my life without being a dj. I actually feel physically sick at the thought.

I bought my first record from my own pocket money at the age of 5, my sisters bought me my first record player at the age of 7. I have been collecting records for over 45 years. I still get a buzz out of finding new tunes and getting those elusive tunes from my wants list. I cherish my record collection. When I retire from my shitty day job I intend to spend the rest of my days happily listening away to it all. Everyone of my records seems to have its own story attached to it, a little part of my life that I relive eveytime I play them.

If you are in any doubt about packing it in mate just don`t do it.

Who cares that you changed your mind - I for one will be glad you did.

my conclusion....if you dont need the money or have to sacrifiy space......keep the the decks and the records.....coz if its all about being bored, then sell up, and keep tabs with osa...because its all that you will have left.................apart from a pocket full of expedinible non returnable memories.
